downstairs bedroom

This delightful bedroom is on the ground floor making it easy to run out for a quick dip before breakfast or before you retire for the night! It has its own bathroom with huge level access shower and a huge door into the courtyard which stays open through the summer to let the breezes in. The mornings can be noisy as the bedroom is on the street (with large blocks of timer now blocking the old door) but the great thing is that it is relatively cool in the summer and has a large ceiling fan to blow a wafting breeze over you.

The room was originally a living room with large doors out on to the street. The room to the right was probably a kitchen.

A lovely large bed with the en suite within staggering distance..

All the doors and windows have been made by a local carpenter by the name of Jesmond.
