When we came to the house this was the stock room - as in four legged stock. It is now the centre of the house placed as it is between the garden, courtyard and kitchen. There is wireless broadband and cable TV in the room so it has come a long way from the 16th or 17th centuries when it was probably built into what we have to offer today.

The arch between the sitting room and kitchen is of a Norman design which is not surprising as the Normans came to Malta nine or so centuries ago and may well have taught the locals few building tricks. The beams on the floor were used in one of the upstairs bedrooms as well as this room.
